Batik which is originally from Indonesia, known in Rusia in the 2nd half of 20th century and becme very famous among those who are able to create something handmade. as well as with Mary Kaminskaya, a 32 years old Russian designer and artist , she was very interested in the world of batik.
Mary make batik work on silk, scarves, umbrellas, ties and some other handmade accessories. Her batik design is so unique with interesting gradation color play. Maria Kaminskaya had her first solo exhibition “Silk Road” in December 2007. Now her creation are in private collections of batik lovers from Rusia, Cana, UK, Moldova and other country.
